Diretivas antecipadas: instrumento que assegura a vontade de morrer dignamente

Abstract

This research was conducted a brief study of the advance directives instrument that can ensure the wishes of terminally ill patients to die with dignity. To that end, we treated the concept and origin of the advance directives, the situations in which this document may be used, as well as analysis project of the bill n.524/2009, which proposes to legalize advance directives. Key words: advance directives, orthothanasia, worthy death, doctor-patient relationship.Nesta pesquisa realizou-se um breve estudo acerca das diretivas antecipadas, instrumento que pode assegurar a vontade do paciente terminal em morrer com dignidade. Para tanto, foi tratado o conceito e origem das diretivas antecipadas; as situações nas quais este documento pode ser utilizado; bem como análise do projeto de lei n.524/2009, o qual propõe legalizar as diretivas antecipadas.
