L’any 2014, la Direcció General de Política Lingüística, juntament amb el Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística i el programa del Tricentenari, impulsa el projecte 300 fets de llengua. Aquesta iniciativa, emmarcada en la commemoració del Tricentenari dels fets de l’11 de Setembre de 1714, divulga la història del català de manera lúdica, materialitzada en un joc de taula, un concurs participatiu, un relat per a les xarxes socials i els mitjans de comunicació, i una viquimarató.In 2014, the Directorate General for Language Policy,together with the Consortium for Language Normalisationand Tricentenari (Tercentenary) programme, launchedthe 300 Language Facts project.
