Se efectúa la revisión del género Rhamna Peyerimhoff, 1913, creado para R. semen del norte de África y citada posteriormente del sur de la Península Ibérica. Género muy evolucionado, con una talla media entre 1,5 y 2,0 mm, de aspecto externo muy uniforme, pero bien diferenciado específicamente por la genitalia masculina. El género en la actualidad comprende las siguientes especies R. leonensis (Pic, 1927), descrita de Sierra Leona; R. minuta (Pic, 1932), del Senegal; R. obscura Español, 1997, de Ghana; R. saudita Español, 1981, de Arabia Saudita; R. kinoshitai Sakai, 1993, de Nagasaki; R. yaeyamana Sakai, 1993, de la isla de Iriomote; R. bremeri Español & Viñolas, 1995, de Tanzania; R. peyerimhoffi Español & Viñolas, 1995 de Soutpansberg; R. mestreae Español & Viñolas, 1996, de Kenya y R. espanyoli sp. n. de Ruanda, R. nigrita sp. n. y R. wagneri sp. n. de Uganda.Review of the genus Rhamna Peyerimhoff, 1913 (Coleoptera: Anobiidae, Mesocoelopinae). It is accomplished the review of the genus Rhamna Peyerimhoff, 1913, created for R. semen of the north of Africa and cited thereinafter of the south of the Iberian Peninsula. Very evolved genus, with a mean height among 1.5 and 2.0 mm, of aspect external it is very uniform, but well differentiated specifically for the aedeagus.
