A partir dels exemplars de l'espècie Nassarius
Turbieellus (Brocchi, 1814) recol·lectats al Plioce
del Papiol (Baix Llobregat), els quals representen
la primera localització d'aquesta espècie al
Neogen català, es fa un estudi morfològic comparatiu
en relació amb els exemplars coneguts d'altres
localitats, la qual cosa permet avaluar la variabilitat
de l'espècie. Així mateix, es discuteixen
alguns aspectes de la seva distribució geogràfica,
batimetria i filogènia, que es relacionen amb alguns
aspectes teòrics implicats en aquestes qüestions.From the especimens of the species Nassarius turbinellus (Brocchi, 1814) picked up at the Pliocene of Papiol (Catalonia), which represent the first location
of this species in the Neogene of Catalonia, a comparative
morphological study is made in relation to
the known specimens from the other places which
enable us to evaluate the especies variability.
Moreover, some other aspects are also discussed,
concerning its geographical distribution, bathymetry
and phylogeny related to some theoretical aspects
implied in these issues
