Entre agosto de 1917 y abril de 1920 se publicó en Colombia, en la ciudad de Barranquilla,
la revista cultural Voces. Desde su aparición, este medio impactó de manera profunda
el ámbito literario y periodístico colombiano debido a su carácter vanguardista y a
la alta calidad de sus contenidos, aspectos que se echaban de menos en la mayoría de las
revistas del mismo género que se editaban por entonces en el país. Pese a no figurar nunca
como su director oficial por motivos aún no definidos, Ramon Vinyes i Cluet (Berga,
8 de mayo de 1882 - Barcelona, 5 de mayo de 1952), periodista catalán que vivió durante
muchos años en Barranquilla, fue siempre el inspirador y gestor de la revista según se
deduce de los temas que se tratan en el presente artículo. Voces ha sido estudiada desde
diversas perspectivas por muchos de los investigadores que se han aproximado a la obra
colombiana de Vinyes. No obstante, permanecen sin solución numerosas cuestiones que
se observan en la revista. En este trabajo se plantean algunas hipótesis acerca de la gestión,
el proyecto y el diseño de Voces, con las que se propone una nueva línea de investigación
en lo que se refiere a la periodística del autor Ramon Vinyes.The cultural magazine Voces was published in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia,
from August 1917 until April 1920. Since its beginnings, Voces made a deep impression within the literary and press circles in Colombia. This was due, in great part, because
of the high quality of its contents and its avant-garde style, characteristics that were
rare amongst the other cultural magazines that were being published in the country at
the time. Albeit Ramon Vinyes i Cluet (Berga, 1882 - Barcelona, 1952) a Catalan
journalist who lived for a long period of his life in Colombia was never credited as
the editor of Voces for unknown reasons, he was the true promoter of the magazine,
as it is explained in this article. Different studies on Voces have been carried on by
researchers who have approached Vinyes works in Colombia from different academic
perspectives. Notwithstanding, there are still a number of issues concerning the
magazine which remain to be studied. Some hypothesis about the Voces project,Vinyes
role in the administrative direction of the magazine, and some issues concerning its
graphic design and style are presented in this paper; thus proposing new possible lines
of research on Ramon Vinyes journalistic work
