El presente artículo consiste en un estudio del género programático _manifiestos, programas y proclamas literarias, publicado en la prensa literaria de Alemania durante los primeros quince años del siglo XX, que a su vez supone un primer intento de abordar esta etapa del género. El artículo confirma la hipótesis de que manifiesto, programa y proclama son tres tipos textuales con rasgos comunes. Se definen como textos argumentativos orientados a 'realizar' la intención del emisor y de marcado carácter dialógico. Tales características se derivan del hecho de que el texto programático se fundamenta en un acto ilocucionario o perlocucionario, en una exhortación del emisor que pretende provocar una acción en el destinatario.The present article consists of a study of the programmatic genre, which includes manifestos, programmes and proclamations, published in German literary journals during the first fifteen years of the twentieth century. It is a first attempt to address this stage of the genre. The analysis of the programmatic texts confirms the hypothesis that manifesto, programme and proclamation are three textual types with common characteristics. They are defined as argumentative texts with a marked dialogic character aimed at “carrying out” the intention of the issuer. Such characteristics are derived from the fact that the programmatic text is grounded in an elocutionary or pre-elocutionary action and in an exhortation of the issuer that tries to provoke a reaction in the recipient
