Abstract
Este artículo pretende estudiar la forma de organización de un archivo monástico en el siglo XVII a partir del análisis, codicológico yde contenido, de su tumbo. Los tumbos, aunque no son un reflejo exacto de los archivos a los que pertenecían (pues copian escrituras, pe-ro no libros), sí nos permiten acercarnos a la estructura y funcionamien-to de los mismos. Además, al igual que en muchos casos, como el nues-tro, nos dan a conocer la personalidad y el trabajo del archivero, así como sus herramientas de trabajo (resúmenes, descriptores, índices to-pográficos, etc.).This article tries to study the way of organization of a monastic archive of XVIIth century through the análisis, codicologic and of con-tents, of its cartulaire. Cartulaires, although they are not an exact reflec-tion of the archives they belonged to (since they register documents, not books), they allow us to approach to the structure and functioning of themselves. Also, similar to another cases, like ours, they let us to know the archivist’s personality and work, his tools (abstracts, keywords, to-pographic index, etc.)
