El escritor Vicente Huidobro ha sido asociado al movimiento cubista en muchas ocasiones. Por lo general, dicha asociación se ha justificado más desde la biografía y el entorno del escritor que desde su propia obra. Este trabajo ahonda en esa línea de investigación, su obra, y profundiza en el estudio de la morfología del poema Altazor. Este escrito pretende mostrar cómo en Altazor existe una reelaboración pormenorizada de algunas de las técnicas que emplearon los pintores cubistas.The writer Vicente Huidobro has often been associated with the cubist movement. In general, however, this association has more commonly been justified through the author’s biography and historical context than through his own written work. This paper follows the line of analysis focusing on the author’s own work through an incisive study of the morphology of Huidobro’s poem Altazor. This essay intends to show how there exists in Altazor a detailed re-imagining of some of the techniques employed by cubist artists
