Se estudia en este artículo tanto la vertiente filológica como la histórica del famoso capítulo sobre los cristianos de Tácito (ann. XV 44), optando por la interpretación más obvia del texto latino, y proponiendo como cognitio extra ordinem, por la otra, el mecanismo represivo que permitió la actuación de Nerón contra los cristianos.In this paper we studie the philological aspect as well as the historical one of the so called «Christenkapitel» of Tacitus (ann. XV 44). On the one side, we prefer the most obvious intrepretation of the latin text, on the other, we propose the cognition extra ordinem as the repressive mechanism which allowed Nero´s action against Christians
