Cooking support system using multifunctional foot swiches

Abstract

We have been developing computer augmented kitchen, the Kitchen of the Future, which has four foot switches to control the computer. This paper describes new multifunctional foot switches for this system. The foot switch has RFID reader antenna to identify a foot of users who are wearing RFID tag embedded shoes.
