En este artículo vamos a analizar un icono de Valentini (1719), correspondiendo a un ejemplar del género Agave L., que probablemente podemos tomar como un lectótipo de Agave americana L. var. oaxacensis Gentry, taxón descrito en 1982.Guillot Ortiz, D. & Meer, P. van der. 2004. In this article we will analyse some picture from Valentini (1719), that correspond to the Agave L. genus, and we think that correspond to Agave americana L. var. oaxacensis Gentry
