We present here an analysis of trade data, which highlights differences between Member States of the European Union, and also differences between chapters of traded products. We carry out a statistical description of quantity and value of traded products between the EU and third countries. This allows in particular to obtain specific threshold values, which are useful for filtering huge datasets. We present the results obtained on a dataset covering a wide area of trade involving the EU.
