Rabbi Walter Plaut Memorial Collection 1959-1965 Bulk dates: 1962-1964

Abstract

This collection consists mainly of correspondence, manuscripts and other documents pertaining to the death of Rabbi Walter Plaut on January 3, 1964. Most of the condolences are addressed to his widow Hadassah Plaut from his colleagues, congregants, students, and many others. Also included are get-well-letters that Rabbi Plaut received during his battle with cancer in 1963 and a memorial scrapbook by Walter Plaut’s son Joshua.digitizedWalter H.
