Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa uusi päiväkotiesite Joensuun kaupungin Penttilän päiväkotiin. Tavoitteena oli tuottaa informatiivinen ja ajanmukainen esite, joka vastaisi työntekijöiden ja vanhempien toiveisiin ja tarpeisiin. Päiväkotiesitteen laadintaprosessi mukaili tuotekehitysprosessin vaiheita. Uusi päiväkotiesite luotiin yhteistoiminnallisin menetelmin yhdessä päiväkodin työntekijöiden ja päiväkodin lasten vanhempien kanssa. Yhteistoiminnallisina menetelminä käytettiin palavereita ja Learning café -tuokioita.
Opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi uusi esite, joka esittelee Penttilän päiväkodin lapsiryhmät, henkilökunnan, käytännöt ja päivärytmin. Päiväkotiesite on tarkoitettu Penttilän päiväkodin asiakkaina oleville vanhemmille. Ensimmäistä kertaa vanhemmat ovat päässeet osallistumaan päiväkotiesitteen laadintaan. Menetelminä päiväkotiesitteen tuottamisessa käytettiin palavereita, parityöskentelyä, Learning café -tuokioita, lasten haastatteluja, ja palautekyselyitä.
Päiväkotiesitteen laadintaprosessin aikana esille nousi tarve jatkokehittämiselle. Penttilän päiväkoti on parin seuraavan vuoden aikana muutoksen kohteena, sillä päiväkoti aiotaan rakentaa uudelleen. Uuden päiväkodin myötä lapsiryhmät lisääntyvät, työntekijöitä tarvitaan lisää ja näin ollen on tarve kokonaan uudelle päiväkotiesitteelle.The purpose of this thesis was to produce a new kindergarten-brochure to Penttila’s kindergarten. The aim of the thesis was to produce informative and up-to-date kindergarten-brochure, which would respond to employees and parents expectations and wishes. The making process of the kindergarten-brochure adapted the stages of the product development process. The new brochure was made with co-operative methods with the kindergarten’s employees and the parents of kindergarten’s children. Meetings and Learning café –sessions were used as co-operative methods.
As a result of this thesis was made a new kindergarten-brochure, which introduces Penttila’s kindergarten’s children-groups, staff, practices and daily rhythm. Kindergarten-brochure was made for the parents of Penttila’s kindergarten. For the first time the parents got to be part of brochure making. Methods of making the kindergarten-brochure were meetings, pair work, Learning café –sessions, children’s interviews and feedback-inquiries. During the making process a need for follow-up development arouse. Penttila’s kindergarten is going to undergo changes during the next few years. City of Joensuu is going to re-build Penttila’s kindergarten. In the new kindergarten the amount of children-groups will increase and more staff will be needed which leads to need of a wholly new kindergarten-brochure
