Opinnäytetyömme tarkoituksena oli päivittää Savonlinnan keskussairaalan lastentautien yksikköön osaston
esittelylehtinen. Tämä lehtinen on myös tarkoitus jakaa neuvoloihin. Tässä opinnäytetyössä menetelmänä
käytämme tuotekehitysprosessia.
Aiheen tähän opinnäytetyöhön saimme tehdessämme sairaanhoitajan opinnäytetyön, teimme osastolle
tervetuloa-kansion. Osaston tilojen muuttuessa oli myös luonnollista päivittää osaston esittelylehtinen.
Tarkoituksena on, että esittelylehtistä käytetään osastolla esittelykansion tukena ja kotiin sekä neuvoloihin
jaettavana versiona. Esittelylehtinen lähetetään koteihin, kun potilaita kutsutaan sairaalaan. Tämä
lehtinen on myös neuvoloiden käytössä Itä-Savon sairaanhoitopiirin alueella.
Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuudessa kuvaamme lapsiperhettä hoitotyön ja terveydenhoitotyön asiakkaana.
Tämän avulla pyrimme kuvaamaan kuinka perheen terveyttä tukevien voimavarojen tunnistaminen sekä
koko perheen kohtaaminen asiakkaana on tärkeää terveydenhoitotyössä. Käsittelemme työssämme myös
terveydenedistämistä. Samalla käymme läpi lapsiperheiden terveyden edistämisen ja varhaisen tukemisen.
Lasten ja nuorten perheiden terveyden edistäminen on moniulotteista ja laaja-alaista yhteiskunnan
hyvinvointiin kietoutunutta toimintaa. Työmme teoriaosuudessa otamme lisäksi esille perheen ohjauksen
ja vanhempien/lapsen valmistamisen sairaalaan saapumisessa sekä työntekijän merkityksen ohjauksessa.
Vanhempien valmistamista sairaalaan tuloon lapsen kanssa voidaan esimerkiksi helpottaa lähettämällä
ennalta kotiin kirje, jossa kuvataan tulevan tutkimuksen tai sairaalajakson tapahtumat pääpiirteittäin.
Moniammatillista yhteistyötä käsittelemme työssämme jonkin verran, keskityimme tässä aiheessa
enemmän neuvolan, sairaalan ja poliklinikan moniammatilliseen yhteistyöhön.
Etenimme työssämme tuotekehitysprosessin vaiheiden mukaisesti. Esittelylehtisen sisältö ja sen päivittäminen
on rakentunut osaston henkilökunnan toiveista ja tarpeista. Lehtinen sisältää pääasiassa erilaisia
osaston käytänteitä. Esittelylehtisessä käytämme myös kuvia, jotka artesaani Ninja Behm on tehnyt.The subject of our thesis work is to do introduction leaflet for the paediatric unit in Savonlinna central
hospital. There is already an introduction leaflet in paediatric unit, but it is quite old and it had to be updated.
We used product development as our working method.
An idea for this thesis work, we got while we were doing our previous thesis for registered nurse studies.
Previous thesis we made Introduction-file for the paediatric unit, and after that it went without saying
that the old leaflet had to update also. Our purpose is that the leaflet could support the introduction-file
and it could be sent patients home along with invitation-letters. Invitation letter is sent to the patients
home, when there is beforehand agreed operation coming on.
In theory section we are dealing with the family as a nursing and health care client. We want to show
how important is to recognise resources, which are supporting family`s health. We also want to tell how
to face family as a client and how to mentor them as whole family. Early support is experienced as a good
mentoring technique, when health care client is a family who has children. Health care profession has its
own role in mentoring process. We tell about things, which could undermine parents’ involvement in
mentoring process. We also take place for health promotion, which is actually a key of health care. Health
promotion is a multidimensional and wide concept, which is intertwined to the society`s wellbeing. We
are emphasizing especially the health promotion of families who has children. We mention also multiprofessional
working method, because it is very important thing when we are talking about preparing parents
and children for coming into the hospital.
We proceeded as improving the leaflet by using product development process. We were satisfied for the
completed leaflet, which was A5-size and it had pictures drawn by craftsman Ninja Behm. Leaflets` content
was mainly about the units` conventions. We hope that leaflet will be useful for the paediatric unit
and postnatal clinic
