Tein opinnäytteeni konserttimuodossa. Kirkkokonsertti, Gloria, oli 11.4.2010 Kokkolan kaupunginkirkossa. Konsertti toteutettiin yhteistyössä Camerata Chydeniuksen kanssa. Ryhmä on Chydenius-kapellin vanhaan musiikkiin erikoistunut kokoonpano. Erityistä konsertissa oli se, että esittämäni G. F. Händelin Gloria sai ensiesityksensä Kokkolassa. Konsertissa kuultiin myös J.S Bachin kantaatti Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen. Lisäksi lauloin W. A. Mozartin motetista Exsultate, jubilate hitaan keskiosan sekä sitä edeltävän resitatiivin. Konserttiohjelmassa kuultiin myös Camerata Chydeniuksen esittämänä Händelin ja Mozartin soitinmusiikkia.
Opinnäytetyöni raportti käsittelee konsertin. Huolehdin ensimmäistä kertaa kaikista kokonaisen konsertin järjestämiseen liittyvistä asioista. Esittelen myös harjoitusprosessiani konsertin teosten näkökulmasta. Erityisesti esiin nousseita teemoja olivat koloratuuri, trilli, vibrato ja ornamentointi.This Bachelor´s thesis was carried out in an artistic way, by arranging a church concert, Gloria, which was held on April 11,.2010 in Kokkola city church. The concert was arranged in collaboration with Camerata Chydenius. This group is a part of Chydenius-Kapelli and specializes in early music compositions. One thing which made this concert very special was that it was the first time Handel´s Gloria was performed in Kokkola. The concert also included the cantata: Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen by J.S Bach, a slow middle section and the recitative before that from W. A. Mozart´s motet Exsultate, jubilate. The concert program also contained Handel's and Mozart's instrumental music performed by Camerata Chydenius.
The written report of this thesis describes the organization of the concert from the beginning to the end. Also the practicing method has been presented with a perspective of concert pieces. In particular, the highlighted themes were the coloratura, trill, vibrato and ornamentation
