Abstract
A hybrid technique for numerical simulation of extremely nonlinear water wave problem is developed. The present technique uses a particle method and a boundary element method. In the present method, the particle method is applied to the area around water surface and the boundary element method is applied to the other area. Numerical results by the present method are compared with theoretical results and numerical results by BEM
