Abstract
An on-line data acquisition system with RDCs has been extended by incorporation of an interface between the KYU-IB bus used exclusively in the original RDC system and the SCSI bus used widely with general purposes. This extension enables us to widen a choice of personal computers and workstations available for the data acquisition with RDCs. A prototype of such RDC data acquisition system was developed and the performance was evaluated through some feasibility tests. The system was successfully applied to nuclear physics experiments in which energy spectra of charged particles emitted from nuclear reactions were measured with a deltaE-E counter telescope consisting of three silicon semiconductor detectors
