Geoprocessamento aplicado ao estudo do processo de verticalização e suas implicações no desempenho energético urbano da cidade de Macapá-AP

Abstract

The paper addresses the issue of urbanization in the city of Macapa, capital of Amapa state, under the aspect of the recent process of vertical integration that now sets in, and adopted how to objetctive analyze the energy performance under the influence of this process. Both the process of urbanization of medium-sized cities, as the process of vertical integration and consolidation of the urban tissue, raise the same level in consideration of the energy aspects linked to these processes, because if there is expansion of the use, there is also expansion in the demands that subsidize the use such as the issues of generation and supply of electricity. The research methodology included field survey to document information in public agencies related to urban planning and energy of the city of Macapa. Points were also collected geographical coordinates of the buildings uprighted with GPS receiver. This information and data were then entered and analyzed in a Geographic Information System. The results show the mapping and detailing the process of vertical integration and its implication in the energy performance of the city of Macapa. In this sense the research has to contribute on the issue of urban planning by serving as tools for thinking about energy planning in the city from the perspective of vertical integration.Pages: 4617-462
