Synthesis, structural analysis and application of rare earth thiocyanate complexes

This thesis investigates various facets of rare earth thiocyanate chemistry. A strong focus is placed on the structural chemistry of these complexes and the utilisation of the metal based redox transmetallation route for their synthesis.
