Математическое описание тепломассообмена включает систему дифференциальных уравнений в частных производных, описывающих нестационарные трехмерные поля скорости, температуры, концентрации и краевые условия, задающие взаимодействие объекта с окружающей средой. В общем случае, это сложная для решения задача, если иметь в виду сложную геометрию реальных инженерных объектов, нелинейность уравнений, разнообразие и неустойчивость гидродинамических полей и т.п. Универсальным средством решения таких задач становится все в большей мере численное моделирование на компьютерах. Во-первых, численное моделирование востребовано в связи с усложнением энергетических технологий. Во-вторых, численное моделирование становится доступным благодаря появлению и усовершенствованию инженерных математических пакетов. Целью настоящей работы является разработка алгоритма решения процессов теплообмена, протекающих в активной зоне реактора, с помощью методов компьютерного моделирования. Разработка специализированной системы для исследования температурного поляв твэлепроводилась в специализированной среде Matlab, которая занимает особое место среди вычислительных инструментов инженера. Как и другие современные языки программирования высокого уровня, Matlab позволяет разрабатывать хорошо структурированные программы, снабженные графическим интерфейсом пользователя (GUI) и системой визуализации результатов. Имеются эффективные средства отладки и совершенствования программ. В дополнение к этим универсальным свойствам, Matlab, как «матричная лаборатория», обеспечивает эффективную работу с векторными и матричными моделями, поскольку использует массив реальных и XII МЕЖДУНАРОДНАЯ КОНФЕРЕНЦИЯ СТУДЕНТОВ И МОЛОДЫХ УЧЕНЫХ «ПЕРСПЕКТИВЫ РАЗВИТИЯ ФУНДАМЕНТАЛЬНЫХ НАУК» Россия, Томск, 21-24 апреля 2015 г.               МАТЕМАТИКА 605 комплексных чисел как базовый элемент данных. Численные алгоритмы Matlab имеют репутацию эталонов эффективности. Математической формулировкой задачи является уравнение эллиптического типа: ,    (1) Уравнение (1) записано для двухмерной области  [1].Коэффициенты  могут быть функциями координат и зависимой переменной . В последнем случае уравнение будет нелинейным.  Можно решать также параболическое уравнение:      (2) c коэффициентами, зависящими от времени  (но не от искомой переменной ).  Применительно к задачам теплообмена:   зависимую переменную  идентифицируют с температурой,   коэффициент  – с теплопроводностью тела,   коэффициент – с объемной мощностью внутренних источников теплоты;  произведение  может представлять отвод теплоты в окружающую среду с нулевой температурой, или специальный вид внутреннего источника теплоты;   коэффициент  для нестационарной задачи есть объемная теплоемкость .  В задаче о температурном поле твэла имеет место быть аксиальная симметрия твэла и при отсутствии заметных продольных изменений температурное поле будет одномерным, изменяющимся только по радиальной координате.  Рис. 1. Результат численного решения задачи о температурном поле твэла  Один из примеров представления численного решения в трехмерном режиме изображен на рис. 1. Отчетливо видны сильные перекосы температурного поля, способные вызвать значительные и неравномерно распределенные температурные напряжения в твэле. Температура циркониевой оболочки в рассматриваемом экстремальном режиме функционирования твэла явно превосходит допустимый XII МЕЖДУНАРОДНАЯ КОНФЕРЕНЦИЯ СТУДЕНТОВ И МОЛОДЫХ УЧЕНЫХ «ПЕРСПЕКТИВЫ РАЗВИТИЯ ФУНДАМЕНТАЛЬНЫХ НАУК» Россия, Томск, 21-24 апреля 2015 г.               МАТЕМАТИКА 606 предел (примерно 400 ºС). Экспериментирование с различными режимами, в том числе аварийными, составляет основную задачу численного моделирования инженерных объектов.  Выполнение демонстрационного расчета распределения температуры в цилиндрическом твэл производиться в пакете Mathcad.  При проектировании твэла необходимо проверить, не превышают ли температуры ядерного топлива и защитной оболочки допустимых значений. В разработанной модели расчета теплопередачи определяются:  температура внешней поверхности циркониевой оболочки, контактирующей с водой;   температура внутренней поверхности оболочки;   температура поверхности топливного стержня из оксида урана.  Располагая значением температуры поверхности топливного стержня из диоксида урана, можно рассчитать максимальную температуру топлива. Распределение температуры внутри тепловыделяющего стержня строят с помощью функции c учетом сильной температурной зависимости теплопроводности оксида урана. Далее формируется функция для распределения температуры во внешней области, т.е. в газовом зазоре, циркониевой оболочке и охлаждающей жидкости. Результаты расчета твэла представлены на рис. 2 как распределение температуры по радиусу [2]. Основное назначение разработанной системы – экспериментирование с различными режимами, в том числе аварийными для контроля температурных параметров внутри активной зоны. Разработанный алгоритм решения стационарной задачи теплопроводности внутри тепловыделяющего стержня, газовой прослойки и циркониевой оболочки, может быть особенно полезен на ранних этапах конструирования твэл. Широкий спектр возможностей визуализации результатов позволяют добиться большей наглядности в теплофизических процессах, протекающих в активной зоне реактора. Полученные результаты возможно применять не только для энергетических реакторов, но и для исследовательских установок. Проведенные расчеты для тепловыделяющих сборок ИРТ-Т показали хорошую сходимость с результатами представленными в [3].  Рис. 2. On the one hand, verticaldisplays are the established output technology in desktopenvironments where keyboard and mouse provide efficientand well-optimized input devices. On the other hand, hori-zontal displays are more efficient for drawing tasks, such asannotation and graphics design tasks.BendDesk represents a hybrid desk environment that com-bines both, a vertical and a horizontal surface. Unlike pre-vious approaches involving multiple displays, both surfacesconsist of one-piece and are seamlessly merged by a curve.This facilitates the perception of a spatially cohesive work-space, it allows to perform dragging gestures from one dis-play to the other, and it offers an additional interactive area,the curve. BendDesk supports direct touch and pen input onall areas.RELATED WORKBendDesk is inspired by the Sun Starfire vision video [4],which anticipates a single-user desk that combines a verticaland a horizontal surface and is sensitive to a variety of inputmethods.Morris et al. [2] evaluate several input modalities for read-ing and writing tasks on interactive surfaces. Vertical dis-plays are preferred for entering text (using a keyboard) butFigure 1. The authors recommend a hybrid sys-tem that includes vertical and horizontal displays and thatallows users to move data from one surface to the other.Based on a later study [3], the authors propose several de-sign guidelines for the use of both surface types. They em-phasize that designers “must account for the difficulty usershave observing two different planes simultaneously”. Oneof the problems users faced in the study was that they per-ceived the involved displays as isolated areas. BendDeskovercomes this issue because it provides a seamless transi-tion between both surfaces. Morris et al. also point out thedifficulty of changing input modality when switching fromthe horizontal to the vertical display or vice versa. We avoidthis input barrier by supporting direct touch and pen inter-action on all surfaces.SYSTEM DESIGNAs illustrated in Figure 1, our prototype consists of a bendedacrylic board that divides the surface into three interactiveareas. The 39in × 15in horizontal tabletop is mounted ina height of 28in to allow comfortable sitting. The verticalwall amounts to a size of 39in × 19in and is placed in adepth of 18in to be reachable by an average adult person.The surfaces are connected by a curve with a bending radiusof 4in. In order to support the users’s ecology of objects [3],we include a small non-interactive strip of 3in × 39in infront of the user to allow her to rest her hands and to deposititems. We derived the sizes for all areas from preliminaryuser tests.One regular and one short-throw projector, which avoids amirror beneath the table, render the user interface on a dif-fusor layer which is mounted on top of the surface. Weemploy Frustrated Total Internal Reflection (FTIR) [1] todetect touches on the surface: LED ribbons attached to allboundaries radiate infrared light into the acrylic. A layer offoamed silicone between the acrylic and the diffusor causesa spot in the camera image when a user puts down a fingeron the surface. We preprocess the camera and the projectorimage to compensate for the distortion caused by the bendarea. We employ an Anoto digital pen1 for additional high-precision input. It determines its position using a dot patternthat is printed on the diffusor and sends it out via Bluetooth.USER INTERFACEThe vertical and the horizontal surface can be used equi-table. The user may choose which surface she wants to usefor which task, e.g., a text can be displayed on the verti-cal surface for a reading task and on the horizontal surfacefor annotations. Direct touch interaction is used for mov-ing, rotating, and scaling objects, as it is known for standardmulti-touch applications. Because we aim for a continuousinteraction, the entire surface is touch sensitive, i.e., an ob-ject can be steadily dragged or flung from the vertical to thehorizontal display and vice versa. Pen input is exclusivelyused to modify objects, e.g., to write text, to annotate docu-ments, or to draw associations.The curve fulfills two specific functions: Firstly, it acts as astorage for virtual objects. If the user drags an object anddrops it in this area, it is minimized to an icon. This canbe helpful to avoid occlusions and cluttering on the othersurfaces. By dragging the object back to the vertical or hor-izontal surface, it is resized and available for editing again.Secondly, the curve is used to notify the user about events.E.g., if a virtual object showing a live video stream has lostits internet connection, a brief message appears in the curvewhich is visually connected to the video object by a line.These notifications are particularly helpful if an event oc-curs on a surface that the user is not paying attention to [3].REMOTE COLLABORATIONMany collaborative tasks require a private space for usersto work on a specific subtask and a public space to assem-ble the results and to expose them to the group. We believethat BendDesk is potentially useful for remote collaborationbecause it naturally offers these particular spaces. Whenworking with a group of remote users, the wall could rep-resent the shared public document that is displayed to allusers, e.g., the CAD map of a building. If a user wants tomodify a specific part of the document, she can just drag itto the tabletop, the private space which is only visible to her.When done, she integrates her changes back into the publicdocument by dragging it to the wall.Moreover, the curve can act as an intermediate step in theprocess of collaborative work. Sometimes a set of subtasks1http://www.anoto.com/have to be performed that are interdependent, e.g., a changeof a node in a process chart might require adjusting othersuccessive nodes. To avoid damaging the integrity of thepublic document, the user could accumulate all modifica-tions in the curved area. When all dependent changes areperformed, she can then integrate them all together into thepublic document by dragging them from the curve to thewall. This creates a continuous workflow from the privatedata to the public document.USER STUDIESIn our user studies, we intend to explore whether the seam-less merge between the vertical and horizontal area outper-forms a system with two isolated areas in respect to effi-ciency and acceptance by the user. We are especially inter-ested in the question if an increased spatial cohesiveness anda support of the same input modalities on the entire surfaceleads to a stronger involvement of all the areas to solve aspecific task. We will further employ an iterative design ap-proach to find appropriate gestures to move virtual objectsbetween the interactive areas.FUTURE WORKWe are building the hardware prototype and implementingthe software interface. Futhermore, we will design a set ofapplications that make use of the table setup. Accordingly,we will conduct the aforementioned user studies to evaluatethe usefulness of our system.
