A dynamic combinatorial approach for the analysis of weak carbohydrate/aromatic complexes: Dissecting facial selectivity in CH/π stacking interactions

Abstract

A dynamical combinatorial approach for the study of weak carbohydrate/aromatic interactions is presented. This methodology has been employed to dissect the subtle structure-stability relationships that govern facial selectivity in these supramolecular complexes. © 2013 American Chemical Society. This investigation was supported by research grants from the Spanish “Plan Nacional” (MCYT) (CTQ2010-19073, CTQ2009-08536, and CTQ2009-10343) and the Comunidad de Madrid (S2009/PPQ-1752).Peer Reviewe
