Cleo Gilkison

Abstract

Photographed by Charles Bretzman in 1929, Cleo Gilkison was the wife of Alva O. Gilkison and they lived at 3702 North Illinois in Indianapolis. Cleo looks stunning wearing a cloche hat and a fur-trimmed coat. Her husband, Alva was listed in the city directory as a salesman at a securities company. Census records for 1930 list Alva as 38 and Cleo as 32.This image is a preservation copy made from an unstable original nitrate negative. The image is part of Series III
