Miss Mary Joyce was photographed with her maid of honor in this home portrait during her wedding in 1929. The customer card listed her at 3220 Fall Creek Boulevard in Indianapolis. The city directory shows her father and mother, Leon and Estelle Mae Joyce at that address and Mary was a student. Her father was a mason contractor. A year later in 1930 the census showed the newlyweds living at the same address with her parents and Gerald Martz was a bookkeeper for the Leon Joyce Company.
