SUMMARY. — Corticiaceae s.l. along the Belgian coast. — Since 1982 Corticiaceae s.l. have been 
studied in the dune area along the Belgian coast. 66 species are listed and located in 4 woods. Exsiccata 
are kept at GENT, Herbarium of the State University. 
Het is verbazend hoe in JÜLICH'S „Die Nichtblâtterpilze" (1984) de B (= België) 
nagenoeg steeds ontbreekt - behalve bij de Gasteromyceten — in de verspreidingsgegevens 
na elke soort. Ten dele zal dit wel te wijten zijn aan het feit dat er na DE WILDEMAN'S overzicht 
in de «Prodrome de la Flore Belge», 2 (1898) geen revisie van de Aphyllophorales in België 
meer verschenen is, en er alleen in excursieverslagen en verspreide artikels over „merkwaar-
dige vondsten" eventueel nog aanduidingen kunnen gevonden worden. 
Vanaf 1982 heeft de tweede auteur speciaal gelet op korstzwammen (Corticiaceae s.l.) 
in de vier bosgebieden langs de Belgische kust nl. het Calmeynbos (De Panne-Adinkerke), 
het Hannecartbos (Oostduinkerke), de Staatsbossen (De Haan-Wenduine) en de Zwinbossen 
(Knokke-Zoute). Het betreft jonge loofbossen, hoofdzakelijk in deze eeuw op duingrond 
aangeplant. Het Hannecartbos wordt doorsneden door een duinbeek en het bestaat groten-
deels uit Alnus glutinosa. In De Haan zijn er ook belangrijke dennenaanplantingen, naast 
loofliout. In de Zwinbossen werd hoofdzakelijk looftx)s en struweel onderzocht, het den-
nenbos slechts in beperkte mate. 
Op onderstaande üjst worden 66 species vermeld die met zekerheid zijn geïdentificeerd, 
hoofdzakeUjk door de eerste auteur. De vindplaatsen zijn aangeduid met + (betekent : 
exsiccata bewaard in het Herbarium van de Rijksuniversiteit, internationaal aangeduid als 
GENT) of X (betekent : geïnventariseerd op excursies van de Mykol. Werkgroep O. Vlaan-
deren en de Antwerpse Mykologische Kring in de periode 1982-1986). 
Onze kennis van de korstzwammen zal in de e.k. jaren zeker nog toenemen, maar dit 
overzicht is al significant en tal van deze soorten werden voorheen nooit voor België 
gepubliceerd.
