Abstract

Mg. A. Prignon (1919-2000) was a particularly competent and esteemed theologian during Vatican II, despite a theological training which had suffered many setbacks due to circumstances. The dynamic team which he led had as its place of work the Belgian College of which A. Prignon was rector since 1962. His influence bore especially on the ecclesiology of Lumen Gentium and on the final version of schema XIII
