The convergence in L of the Partial wave expansion for electron-atom collisions

Abstract

In the partial wave treatment of electron-neutral atome collisions the calculation of converged cross-sections is greatly complicated by the large number of angular momentum states which contribute. Methods of accelerating this convergence are discussed
