[Current management of myelodysplastic syndromes].

Abstract

Treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) has improved in recent years with better results of allogeneic stem cell therapy (SCT), the advent of new therapeutic options such as hypomethylating agents and lenalidomide, the introduction of iron chelation therapy and the implication of erythropoietic stimulating agents in the treatment of anemia.
