A Role for Negotiations in IIASA

Abstract

This paper presents one concept for the development of the International Negotiations Project in IIASA. It proposes a very special definition of negotiations designed to fit the mission of IIASA as perceived by the author. It is not meant to include the whole program of the project, but only that part which pertains to the transfer of research products into the real world of decision making and negotiations.
