Lições sobre a África : abordagens da história africana nos livros didáticos brasileiros

32 p. : il.O tratamento concedido à trajetória histórica das sociedades africanas nos manuais escolares utilizados entre a 5ª e a 8ª séries do ensino fundamental é o tema principal do presente artigo. O recorte temporal eleito para observação corresponde à abordagem da história africana que se estende do século VII ao XVIII. Apesar dos avanços identificados em algumas coleções, o quadro geral da análise sinaliza para a existência de algumas imprecisões no enfoque da temática. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThe treatment accorded to the historical trajectory of African societies in school textbooks used between 5th and 8th grades of elementary school is the main theme of this article. The cut-off time for observation is elected to the approach of the period which extends from the seventh century to the eighteenth. Despite the advances identified in some collections, the general framework for the analysis indicates that there are some inaccuracies in the focus of the issue
