The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) to describes the formof Javanese language errors; (2) the distribution of language errors; (3) the most errors, and (4) causes of error language in narration text by students at class X of SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a sample narration text of student at class X of SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a sample narration text of student at class X of SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. The sampling techniquewas used purposive sampling. Data collection techniqueswere used test and in-depth interviews. Data collection technique used is the interactive analytical model that includes four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study are: (1) the form of language errors found in text narration of students at class X SMA Negeri1NgemplakBoyolali were spelling errors, diction errors, and the sentence errors; (2) the most errors in the text narration of students is the spelling errors then diction errors and the last is sentence errors; (3) the factor that cause errors in text narration of students at class x SMA NegeriNgemplakBoyolali are: (1) the lack of language mastery; (2) attention to the Javanese grammar is lacking; (3) interference of foreign language; (4) lack of writing practice; and (5) the method of Javanese learning is nonaccurate. The efforts have been made to minimize errors include: (1) improving students language mastery; (2) having more practice in writing; (3) implementing appropriate correction technique; and (4) implementing a process approach to teaching writing.
