Abstract

The purpose of this article is to attempt to clarify the role of phraseological units in teaching Modern Greek to Bulgarians. Views of both Bulgarian and Greek authorsdealing with didactics and foreign language acquisition are considered. A number of examples analyzed in these authors' publications are utilized and an attempt is made to express a personal opinion
