Feral pigs on Flinders Island

Abstract

A survey of feral pigs on Flinders Island showed that three areas, the north and east coast lagoon areas, Strzelecki National Park and Darling Range have resident pig populations, with a total number of about I 000 individuals. There is minimal damage to agricultural areas, or to the east coast lagoons but the National Park is being seriously damaged by pig activity
