Abstract
Autori su kroz šest mjeseci promatrali promjene težine uzoraka srebrno-kositrenog amalgama in vitro pod pretpostavkom, da će se svaka značajnija fizikalno-kemijska promjena na amalgamu očitovati u promjeni težine uzoraka. Uzorci su bili svrstani u šest serija pod različitim uvjetima. Ispitivani materijal pokazao je u eksperimentalnim uvjetima veliku težinsku stabilnost. Autori tu stabilnost pripisuju činjenici, da se živa ne izdvaja iz amalgama, kao i neznatnoj njegovoj poroznosti.The authors observed the changes in the weight of samples of silver — tin amalgam in vitro under the assumption that every more significant physico-chemical change of the amalgam is reflected in changes in the weight of the samples. The samples were classified in six series under different conditions.The materijal tested showed great weight stability under experimental conditions. The authors ascribe this stability to the fact that mercury is not separated from the amalgam and also to its negligible porosity.Durch 6 Monate wurden Muster von Silber-Zinnamalgam auf Gewichtsveränderungen in vitro beobachtet, unter der Voraussetzug, dass jede bedeutendere physikalisch-chemische Veränderung am Amalgam in einer Gewichtsveränderung zum Ausdruck kommt. Die Muster waren in sechs Serien unter verschiedenen Bedingungen eingeteilt. Das geprüfte Material zeigte unter experimentellen Bedingungen eine grosse Gewichtsstabilität. Diese Stabilität wird dem Umstand zugeschieben, dass Qucksilber aus dem Amalgam nicht ausgeschieden wird, als auch in seiner geringen Porosität
