Abstract
U radu su prikazani rijetki primjeri anomalije u oblikovanju korijena i pulpne komore. Ta anomalija utvrđena je rendgenografskim ispitivanjem zubi. Zbog sličnosti zubima bika, pojava je nazvana taurodontizam, za razliku od cinodontizma. lako taurodontizam predstavlja rijedak nalaz u recentnog čovjeka, a u neandertalca je bio normalna pojava, ipak se takav oblik pulpne komore može sresti i danas. Istraživanja u različitim dijelovima svijeta su pokazala da i danas ima taurodontnih zubi. Autori ovim radom žele upozoriti na tu mogućnost i važnost tog nalaza prilikom endodontskog zahvata.The authors present their own cases of a taurodont molars in recent population discovered by x rays. Although taurodontism is very rare in recent man, it has been a norma! finding in earlier hominid forms, especially in the Neanderthal and has been reported in the literature. Owing to the fact that taurodontisn is occassionally found in recent population the authors intention has been to draw attention to this possibility, regarding endodontic treatment of theese teeth.Einleitend wird die Anomalie sowie die Anschauungen in der Literatur über den Taurodontismus beschrieben. Obwohl der Taurodontismus beim rezenten Menschen selten ist, findet man in der Literatur vereinzelte Fälle. Eigene Befunde von Taurodontie, durch Röntgenaufnahmen fesgestellt, sind beschrieben. Da bei einem Fall der betreffende Zahn endodontisch behandelt wurde, wollen die Autoren die Aufmerksamheit auf das Vorkommen der Taurodontie lenken. Die Behandlung solcher Zähne soll bei der Anomalie vorsichtig durchgeführt werden
