Abstract
У статті розглядаються загальні положення статистичної лінгвістики. Описуються лінгвостатистичні методи: критерій Стьюдента і критерій хі-квадрат. Наведено конкретні приклади застосування цих методів.
(The article deals with the general problems of statistical linguistics. The statistical methods, such as Student’s test and chi-square test, involve the use of different formulas to identify the rules of distribution of linguistic units in speech, to measure the links between language elements and to establish the relationship between qualitative and quantitative characteristics of speech. The examples of these methods application are resulted.
