Because of natural resources Slovenia has a great potential in green jobs. In practice, we have seen\ud
some good examples, but possibilities are far from exploited.\ud
The first part of the thesis presents the topic of achieving environmental support of aquatic\ud
environments. The problem of investments financing is that they are based only on costs of the project\ud
without taking into consideration its complete contribution to the environment. The thesis introduces\ud
the importance of ecosystems and their significance for the environment and humans as well as\ud
approaches to assess ecological services, based on these ecosystems.\ud
Based on the assumption that the level of ecological services can present value and importance of\ud
investments better than price of the whole project, the concept of green jobs is indicated. This can be\ud
understood as a result of investments valued by the methods listed in the part of the thesis dealing with\ud
assessment of ecological services

Green jobs-assessing the ecological support of aquatic services

V Sloveniji je potencial zaradi naravnih danosti za zelena delovna mesta izjemno velik. Poznamo že
nekaj dobrih praks, vendar še zdaleč niso izkoriščene vse možnosti.
V diplomskem delu sem najprej predstavila tematiko doseganja ekološke podpore na vodnih
področjih. Problem financiranja investicij, ki je osnovan samo na stroških projekta, ne da bi upoštevali
njegov celoten doprinos k okolju. Predstavljena je pomembnost ekosistemov in njihov pomen za
okolje in človeka ter pristopi k vrednotenju ekoloških storitev, ki temeljijo na teh ekosistemih.
Nato pa sem v nadaljevanju s predpostavko, da lahko vrednost ekološke storitve boljše predstavi
vrednost in pomembnost investicije kot pa samo ceno celotnega projekta, predstavila še pojem zelena
delovna mesta, ki ga lahko razumemo kot posledico investicije, katero smo ovrednotili po metodah,
