Chatbots and their Applications in E-Commerce

Abstract

With the growing use of mobile instant messengers around the world, chatbot, a system that automatically communicates with people based on artificial intelligence on a messenger, is drawing attention for its versatility and ability to learn. For our research paper, we decided to gather academic journals and utilize multiple webpages on how chatbots have evolved from simple response AI to intricate and impressive systems that are capable of utilizing speech and conversations to personalize user experience, help with online marketing and shopping, searching the web upon request, and many other functions. Our research concludes that the utilization of chatbots within e-commerce will not only boost online shopping, but it will eventually standardize most of the business transactions done online
