SUMMERTIME FUN--FREE SWIMMING FOR PEOPLE WITHDISABILITIESJune 21, 2011 by cpehrsonThe Up to 3 Early Intervention program at the CPD invites all of their families to bring their children to the Logan Aquatic Center on Saturdaymornings to swim for FREE!This Adaptive Aquatics program is offered as a community service for people with disabilities of all ages. Families are encouraged to comeand swim with their loved ones for free, also.There will be noodles and life jackets on hand, and lifeguards on duty. Water orientation and swimming techniques will be taught. The leisurepool is wheelchair accessible and the 50 meter pool has a pool access lift available upon request.It is held at the Logan Aquatics Center, 451 S. 500 W., Logan, Utah on Saturday mornings from 10 00‑11 30 a.m., beginning on June 4 andending on August 27. There will be no adaptive aquatics held on July 9.For more information call 435‑716‑9208.Thanks, Logan Aquatics Center, for bringing families a fun activity that meets the needs of the people with disabilities in this community!
