Unifying the Process, A Personal Journey

Abstract

The unchanging need for harmony in design and construction is best addressed by the traditional master builder. Unfortunately, the master builder is merely an ideal and because of the complexity of today’s projects, it is impossible that the archetypal master builder could be replicated in a single person. However, there are masters in the profession of architecture practicing today that have the knowledge and leadership skills necessary to lead a unified team that, as a whole, embody the master builder archetype.
