WHEREAS, WHEREAS, RESOLVED: ACADEMIC SENATE of CALIFORNIA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY, SAN LUIS OBISPO AS-152-83/C&BMay 17, 1983 RESOLUTION ON ELIGIBILITY OF SENATE OFFICERS Article III, Section B of the current Bylaws to the Constitution of the Academic Senate requires that each school is permitted to provide only one Senate officer at a time; and The Senate this year has unanimously elected a Chair (Jim Simmons) and a Secretary (Reg Gooden) from the same school for the 1983-1984 year; be it That the Academic Senate suspend the aforementioned eligibility requirement for the 1983-1984 academic year.
