Consumer Sentiment declined in November 2017
from 104.8 to 103.6 index points (Chart 1). While
the monthly change shows a decline, an annual
comparison shows this level rising by 5.9 index
points. The monthly decline for November 2017 is
driven by a fall in the Index of Consumer
Expectations. The Index of Current Economic
Conditions has risen slightly, bolstered by improved
attitudes towards major purchases
