This paper presents the results of the development and evaluation of the IP mobility protocol BRAIN Candidate Mobility Management Protocol (BCMP) using a real IPv6 network environment. BCMP is an intra domain mobility protocol i.e. it handles user mobility within an administrative domain. The protocol setup is based on a focal point in the network, called Anchor Point, from whereon dynamic tunnel establishment to MH's points-of-attachment is deployed. We show all protocol stages and their impact during the communication phases of MHs in the network including the logins, packet transfers and handovers.
