Pengaruh Aspal Buton Granular Dan Aspal Minyak Terhadap Kekuatan Tarik Campuran Aspal Porus

Abstract

Porous asphalt is a new generation of flexible pavement , which allows water to seep into the upper layer ( wearing course ) vertically and horizontally . This condition is possible , because the gradation used have coarse aggregate fractions ranged 70-85 % and fine aggregates ranged between 15-30 % of the volume of the mixture . Asphalt is used in this study Buton Granular ( Buton Granular Asphalt / BGA ) as an additive material with the addition of varying BGA 0 % , 10 % , and 20 % on each different bitumen content . The addition of BGA is intended to improve the performance of porous asphalt mixture all at once to reduce the use of petroleum asphalt whose price tends to rise steadily in line with the world market price of crude oil . To find out how big the effect of adding to the tensile strength BGA porous asphalt mix then use the method of indirect tensile strength test ( Indirect Tensile Strength Test / ITS ) . The results show the value of ITS for the addition of 5% bitumen content BGA 0 % , 10 % , and 20 % is 124.3 kPa , 128.0 kPa and 133.0 kPa . For additional 6% bitumen content BGA 0 % , 10 % , and 20 % is 128.6 kPa , 137.7 kPa and 141.5 kPa . For additional 7% bitumen content BGA 0 % , 10 % , and 20 % is 134.6 kPa , 155.2 kPa and 142.3 kPa . And for the addition of 8% bitumen content BGA 0 % , 10 % , and 20 % is 135.2 kPa , 143.3 kPa and 133.0 kPa
