Coronavirüs (Covid-19) pandemisi ve pedagojik yansımaları: Türkiye’de açık ve uzaktan eğitim uygulamaları

Abstract

2019’un sonlarında ortaya çıkan Coronavirüs (Covid-19) pandemisi, dünyanın her yerinde sağlık başta olmak üzere, ekonomik, sosyal ve pedagojik bakımdan çok önemli değişimlere neden olmuştur. Bu pandemiden en çok etkilenen alanlardan biri de eğitim sistemleridir. Şu anda, pandemi nedeniyle, dünya genelinde yüz yüze eğitim yürütülememektedir. Bu nedenle, dünya genelinde, milyonlarca kişi açık ve uzaktan eğitim yoluyla eğitim görmeye başlamıştır. Dünyadaki bu pandemi nedeniyle, Türkiye’de tüm öğretim kademelerinde yüz yüze eğitime ara verilmiş ve tüm öğrenciler için açık ve uzaktan eğitim olanakları kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Coronavirüs (Covid-19) pandemisinin Türkiye'deki açık ve uzaktan eğitim uygulamalarına etkilerini değerlendirmek ve gelecekteki uygulamalar için önerilerde bulunmaktır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, Coronavirüs (Covid-19) pandemisinin önemli pedagojik yansımaları bulunmaktadır. Bu dönemde, açık ve uzaktan eğitime yönelik önemli bir talep artışı olmuştur. Ayrıca, toplumda açık ve uzaktan eğitim hizmetlerinin önemi anlaşılmaya başlamıştır. Bu pandemi, açık ve uzaktan eğitimde sadece niceliğin değil, aynı zamanda niteliğin de önemli olduğunu göstermiştir. Coronavirüs (Covid-19) pandemisi, Türkiye'de açık ve uzaktan eğitim sisteminin altyapı, erişim, güvenlik, içerik, tasarım, uygulama, kalite, mevzuat ve pedagojik açıdan güçlendirilmesi gerektiğini göstermektedir.The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic that occurred at the end of 2019 caused significant changes particularly in health systems, economic, social and pedagogical aspects all over the world. One of the areas most affected by this pandemic is education systems. Currently, face-to-face training is not available worldwide due to the pandemic. For this reason, millions of people have started to receive education through open and distance education worldwide. Because of this pandemic in the world, Turkey has also been suspended in face to face training at all educational levels and start using open and distance learning opportunities for all students. The purpose of this research, coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic of the assess to the effects on open and distance education applications in Turkey and to make suggestions for future applications. In the research, case study was used from qualitative research methods. In this context, there is significant pedagogical reflections of Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. In this period, there was a significant increase in demand for open and distance education. In addition, the importance of open and distance education services has started to be understood in the society. This pandemic has shown that not only quantity but also quality is important in open and distance education. Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, shows that the open and distance education system should be strengthened in terms of infrastructure, access, security, content, design, implementation, quality, legislation and pedagogically in Turkey
