Comienza haciendo referencia a los juglares como máximos representantes de la interpretación musical en la Edad Media. A continuación presenta un breve panorama de la Orquesta de la Catedral de Oviedo entre 1572 y 1933 y del nacionalismo musical asturiano, datado entre 1860 y 1934, citando a sus principales compositores. Por último presenta un breve resumen de la situación musical en Asturias entre 1933 y nuestros días.The text starts by making reference to minstrels as the chief representatives of musical performance in the Middle Ages. It then goes on to offer a brief outlook of the Oviedo Cathedral Orchestra between 1572 and 1933 and of Asturian music nationalism between 1860 and 1934, with reference to the region's main composers.
