An Effective Ratner Equidistribution Result for ASL(2,R)

Abstract

Let G=ASL(2,R) be the affine special linear group of the plane, and set Gamma=ASL(2,Z). We prove a polynomially effective asymptotic equidistribution result for the orbits of a 1-dimensional, non-horospherical unipotent flow on Gamma\G.Comment: A few typos corrected.
