Geodesics at Sudden Singularities

Abstract

We show that a general solution of the Einstein equations that describes approach to an inhomogeneous and anisotropic sudden spacetime singularity does not experience geodesic incompleteness. This generalises the result established for isotropic and homogeneous universes.
