Resistances of cylindrical resistors have been approximately calculated by means of a tentative method. Two-dimensional resistances can be calculated using conformal mapping method. An assumption which the two-dimensional representation may be rotated about a central axis is introduced to get three-dimensional results. Such rotation corresponds the integration with some weight. The calculations are made in two cases, the cylindrical resistor with electrodes on side surface at both ends and the rod-type composition resistor. Numerical results are in agreement with experimental results for the resistorsof appropriate size.departmental bulletin pape
