In view of the constantly changing dynamics and structure of crime and the related detection process, it seems necessary to present the role of service dogs in the aspect of contemporary problems of criminology. In this perspective, the organisational units of the Polish Police themselves have reported the need to regulate a number of important conditions related to the organisation and performance of service by a dog handler, as well as supervision of the organisation and use of a dog in service in order to, inter alia, effectively conduct the detection process. New types of crimes, the presence of contemporary threats and new technologies have forced the introduction of changes in police cynology aimed at adapting a number of occurring needs, to the contemporary service pragmatics, conducted detection processes and performed official tasks by police officers with the use of service dogs. Particularly noteworthy are the changes introduced in the service pragmatics, made in the division into categories of dogs. The author undertook his scientific considerations due to the essence of the changes made in legal regulations, which undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of the security of the state in connection with the growing threats in the 21st century and constitute an adequate reaction on the part of law enforcement bodies in the aspect of combating criminal offences.Wobec stale zmieniającej się dynamiki oraz struktury przestępczości i związanego z tym procesem wykrywczym, wydaje się koniecznym przedstawienie roli psów służbowych w aspekcie współczesnych problemów kryminologii. W tej perspektywie same jednostki organizacyjne polskiej Policji zgłaszały potrzebę uregulowania szeregu istotnych warunków związanych z organizacją i pełnieniem służby przez przewodnika psa, jak i nadzoru nad organizacją i wykorzystaniem psa w służbie w celu m.in skutecznego prowadzenia procesu wykrywczego. Nowe typy przestępstw, obecność współczesnych zagrożeń oraz nowe technologie wymusiły wprowadzenie zmian w kynologii policyjnej mających na celu dostosowanie szeregu występujących potrzeb, do współczesnej pragmatyki służbowej, prowadzonych procesów wykrywczych i wykonywanych zadań służbowych przez funkcjonariuszy Policji z użyciem psów służbowych. Na szczególną uwagę zasługują wprowadzone zmiany w pragmatyce służbowej, dokonane w podziale na kategorie psów. Autor podjął swoje rozważania naukowe ze względu na istotę dokonanych zmian w regulacjach prawnych, co niewątpliwie przyczynia się do poprawy bezpieczeństwa państwa, w związku z narastającymi zagrożeniami w XXI wieku i stanowi adekwatną reakcję ze strony organów ścigania w aspekcie zwalczania przestępczości kryminalnej.En vista de la dinámica y la estructura de la delincuencia en constante cambio y del proceso de detección relacionado con ella, parece necesario presentar el papel de los perros de servicio en el aspecto de los problemas contemporáneos de la criminología. En esta perspectiva, las propias unidades organizativas de la policía polaca han informado de la necesidad de regular una serie de condiciones importantes relacionadas con la organización y la realización del servicio por parte de un adiestrador de perros, así como la supervisión de la organización y el uso de un perro de servicio para, entre otras cosas, llevar a cabo eficazmente el proceso de detección. Los nuevos tipos de delitos, la presencia de amenazas modernas y las nuevas tecnologías han obligado a introducir cambios en la cinología policial destinados a adaptar una serie de necesidades que se producen, a la pragmática moderna del servicio, los procesos de detección llevados a cabo y las tareas realizadas por los agentes de policía con el uso de perros de servicio. Particularmente notables son los cambios introducidos en la pragmática del servicio, realizados en la división de perros en categorías. El autor llevó a cabo sus consideraciones científicas debido a la esencia de los cambios introducidos en las normas legales, que sin duda contribuyen a la mejora de la seguridad del Estado en relación con las crecientes amenazas en el siglo XXI y constituyen una respuesta adecuada por parte de los organismos encargados de hacer cumplir la ley en el aspecto de la lucha contra la criminalidad.Bezug nehmend auf die sich ständig verändernde Dynamik und Struktur der Kriminalität und den damit verbundenen Ermittlungsprozess scheint es notwendig, die Rolle der Diensthunde unter dem Aspekt der gegenwärtigen Probleme der Kriminologie darzustellen. In diesem Zusammenhang haben die Organisationseinheiten der polnischen Polizei selbst auf die Notwendigkeit hingewiesen, eine Reihe wichtiger Bedingungen hinsichtlich der Organisation und Durchführung des Dienstes durch einen Hundeführer sowie der Überwachung der Organisation und des Einsatzes eines Diensthundes zu regeln, um u.a die Ermittlung effektiv durchzuführen. Neue Arten von Straftaten, das Vorhandensein aktueller Bedrohungen und neue Technologien haben die Einführung von Änderungen in der Polizeikynologie erzwungen, die darauf abzielen, eine Reihe von auftretenden Bedürfnissen an die zeitgemäße Dienstpragmatik, die Durchführung von Ermittlungsprozessen und die Ausführung von Dienstaufgaben durch Polizeibeamte mit dem Einsatz von Diensthunden anzupassen. Die Änderungen in der Dienstpragmatik in Bezug auf die Einteilung in Hundekategorien sind besonders hervorzuheben. Der Autor schildert seine wissenschaftlichen Überlegungen aufgrund der Wesentlichkeit der vorgenommenen Änderungen in den gesetzlichen Regelungen, was zweifelsohne zur Verbesserung der Sicherheit des Staates im Zusammenhang mit den wachsenden Bedrohungen im XXI. Jahrhundert beiträgt und eine angemessene Reaktion seitens Strafverfolgungsbehörden unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Bekämpfung der Kriminalität darstellt.В связи с постоянно меняющейся динамикой и структурой преступности и связанного с ней процесса рас- крытия преступлений необходимым является рассмотрение роли служебных собак в аспекте проблем современной криминологии. Таким образом организационные подразделения польской полиции сами заявили о необходимости регулировать ряд важных условий, связанных с организацией и несением службы кинологом, а также надзором за организацией и за использованием служебной собаки, чтобы, в частности, эффективно осуществлять процесс раскрытия преступлений. Новые виды преступлений, наличие современных угроз и новые технологии заставили внести изменения в полицейскую кинологию. Эти изменения направлены на адаптацию ряда возникающих потреб- ностей к современной служебной прагматике, проводимых процессов раскрытия и выполняемых служебных задач сотрудниками полиции с использованием служебных собак. Особенно следует подчеркнуть роль изменений внесенных в служебную прагматику, касающихся разделения собак по категориям. Научные рассуждения автора обусловлены сущностью введенных в нормативно-правовые акты изменений, которые, несомненно, способствуют повышению безопасности государства в связи с нарастающими угрозами в XXI веке и являются адекватной реакцией со стороны правоохранительных органов в аспекте борьбы с уголовной преступностью
